Rejected

This poor little drawing needs a good home. It was rejected by the creative minds at Agency Big Box of Northern America for being off brand. A mistake of biblical portions in our humble position. So, for now, this rejected pearl will spend it days in the dark recess of our backup drive hoping for the chance to one day see print.

Munny Munny Munnie! Munny.

One false start later and our first custom Munny is done and done. Our little bundle of joy, currently titled Simon hates Simon, will be on display at the upcoming CVA exhibition: Ill Minn Vol 2. Simon hates Simone, will be part of a silent auction to raise money for the CVA Student Scholarship Super Ponzi Fund Site. If you can, help the kids out, they're our future.

Hello, The Lights Are On? Is Anyone Home?

Did you happen to see our new DNS number? No, neither did we. We went to the store for a gallon of milk and someway or another our virtual campus up and relocated itself. We finally tracked it down near Summit and the 71.121.224.199 neighborhood but it refused to let us in. Fifty dollars and a phone call later, our new bestest friends at Pick A Security Pass Word opened the door and we are once again home.

The Final Count Down Begins.

We are scurrying around trying to finish up the last few pieces for the Canyon Land show. This piece is still a little sticky but we just couldn't wait to share it with the 12 or so readers of this blog. Please stop by Pink Hobo next Saturday for the show if you are in town and see how this all turns out.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Canyon Land.

Yes, this blog has been completely taken over by the shameless promotion of our upcoming show: Canyon Land. Forgive us while we work this out of our system. For the time being, enjoy, ignore, or sympathize.

Rest Lazarus Rest Print

The ink is still fresh on the the super Rest Lazarus Rest print premiering at the Canyon Land show, November 28th at the Pink Hobo Gallery If you can't make the show you can view a gallery of images here.

There is something truly magical about the process of screen printinting...

layers are printed one...

atop of the next, all the while...

you have to wonder if each layer will work.

The end result always surprises.

Handle With Care

If you by chance live or will be visiting France before November 7th, you must visit the Biblotheque de Montaun's exhibition Handle With Care curated by Laurent Parson. Now, we cannot say enough about Mr Parson, he is a true patron of the arts, and a huge supporter of King Mini International. He has put together a exhibition highlighting some of the best independent comic work of the last 10 years. A collection that we here at the home office are very envious off. Tom K has written a wonderful piece filled with a billion links or so, now click and enjoy. If you do happen to visit the exhibit, please take photos for those less fortunate.
