I say, “Damn you, Mr. Condo Maker! Damn you to hell.” The town of Minneapolis is in the death throes of condo blight. Prefab cubes with names like Marvin Gardens, The Lofty Towers, and Dickhead Commons are sprouting up like weeds throughout the city. It wasn’t enough that they chose to tear down most, if not all, buildings that actually employed an architect in their construction, but to replace them with borg cubes is nothing less than offensive. Where will the Willie Lomans of our once bustling metropolis meet for a reuben and chit chat: Cafe Olive Garden? I fear the day of reckoning is at hand, or far, far worse a move to St Paul is in order.
