Rejected Sitcom Pitch: LimeStone.




At the height of the Cold War, King Limestone was a symbol, a frightening radiated pile of stones bearing witness to humanities abuse of science. Like so many others, his star plumeted in the thaw of the Cold War. Struggling to stay afloat in a sea of debt and despair, King Limestone now travels the mining convention cuircut promoting the benifits of sedimentary rock as a representative of the Indiana Limestone Mining Consortium. Can he regain his dignity and the respect of a wife and daughter left waiting on Monster Island?

Alternate View Of The Junk House.

Here is the alternate version of the the "Junk House" illustration there are small differences between the final two version. The color in this version didn't fit the mood of the story, the house seemed just a bit to alive.



And here are a couple of the process drawings that lead to the final illustration. They are quick studies that help in getting a hold of the invisible aspects of the story. There are usually a half dozen or so drawings that have different bits and pieces that finally coalesce into one final illustration.

Because there is little or no demand King Mini International has created yet antoher scumbag, Nate, and much like the rest of the family Nate will lie, drink, steal, and sleep with your spouse, while leading you to believe he is you newest bestest friend. It will only be after your bank account has been mysteriously emptied, all your furniture has disappeared, and the second round of penicillin shots have worked their magic will you be able to kick out this lovable loser. We have a few at our Esty store front for now and will add them to the Scumbag store in the coming weeks.
