We had planned on attending this past weekends Gastro Non Grata event and post photos of the fun, but alas the house of Mini was felled by this winters break through flu. Here is the poster for the event, a beautiful four color print with metallic silver ink on a 20 x 26 sheet of French 110lb Cream Construction paper stock.

Behold! The King Mini movie that never was. This is first of two test flash animations done late last year by the talented folks at Puny. The tests where done as part of an ill fated Hollywood pitch that flamed out on takeoff. We are not bitching mind you, but come on Mr or Mrs Hollywood Executive Person, you can throw dollars at a Short Circuit remake.

A fresh batch of pennies have been sitting patiently next to the scanner waiting for digital immortalizing. So, without further ado may we present the latest in elongated goodness. Our good friend Mr. Max has been kind enough to send us pennies from his long treck across the great western states before leaving for new adventures in Europe.

Our new bestest friend, Erin, sent along several examples of Floridian filth know to lay people as the sunshine city of Orlando.

And a penny post would not be complete without a contribution from the Mitch Family? Though not officially an elongated penny the punched religious penny is certainly worthy of further exploration. Keep the pennies coming, certificates of thanks are on the way.

We are in the beginning stages of work on some background design for an upcoming animated show for next fall, and just wanted to share some of our initial excitement.

Beasts Book 2 Print Show Opens Tonight!

The Beasts! Book Volume 2 will be hitting the shelves of your favorite book store pretty soon. We perused a preview copy and it certainly sets the bar high for future Beast books. In conjunction with the show, Jacob Covey, the books editor, has put together an exhibition of prints, etching and original art from the books contributors.
If you live anywhere near Seattle, hurry up, you still have some time to shower, clean your monical and motor. It promises to be quite the event.
We pulled a very small 3 color print of our contribution, Bug Bear, for the event. We have reserved a few prints from the edition for those unable to attend the grand affair and will be making them available to the rest of the world shortly.
If you plan on attending the event take lots of photos and drink wisely.

For anyone living near Arizona State University, we highly recommended checking out the Fourth Year Poster Show sponsored by the College of Design. This past summer, fourth year students scoured the planet for examples of poster art, and the results are simply stunning. If you can't make the show, there is a fancy website with photos and samples of all the work including many fine examples from MPLS including works by our very own. Enjoy.

Finally, the scumbag family has a mamma as loathsome as the boys. Meet Liddea, she loves her babbies, Monty Cristo Sandwiches, Miller Lite, and Chevies. She dreams of one day being a Hustler Old Lady of the Month winner, 47 failed attempts have yet to deter her Polariod parties.
We have three completed dolls currently on the shelf of our Esty Show Room. As an added incentive the first three dolls come with a short run silk screened poster, on pink paper, of the same image absolutely free.

Two new pennies arrived in the mailbox this morning. The very rarely seen Minnesota dolphin, prized by hunters for their heavy winter fur coats.

And the Our Father penny, used in the Thursday night candle lighting, hot dish eating, no gambling in the church bingo extravaganza.
